Age 74, formally of Aiken, entered into rest on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark, NJ. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 16th at Family Life Worship Center, Aiken with Bishop Dr. Gehazel Williams Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 12 noon until 7:00 PM on Friday, September 15th at the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Dexter L. Smith of Somerset, New Jersey; two grandchildren, Leilani Janae Smith and Nuri Josiah Smith both of Somerset, New Jersey; three sisters, Gloria Holloway of Long Island, New York, Gracie Mae Cullum, and Roberta Doyle both of Aiken, South Carolina and a host of other relatives.
