Age 77, of Beech Island, entered into rest on Thursday, May 23, 2024 in Augusta, GA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 31st at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church, Beech Island, SC with Rev. Martris Mims officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 30th at the Storm Branch Cultural Center (285 Storm Branch Rd.), Beech Island.

Survivors included his loving and devoted wife, Beverly Coach Harris; one son, Dexter (Anita) Harris, Sparta, GA; one daughter, Tameka Harris, West Columbia, SC; six grandchildren, Kyle Parker, Raven Parker, Kevin Parker, Rachelle Parker, Leon Harris III, and April Harris all of Beech Island, SC; six great-grandchildren, Taylor Sims, Kennedy Bailey, Kayla Parker, Carmen Curry, Kyle Parker Jr., and Parris Hill all of Beech Island, SC; three brothers, Herman (Linda) Harris, Augusta, GA, Willie James (Maria) Harris, Conway, SC and Fred (Carol) Harris, North Augusta, SC; two sisters, Elease Harris, Sacramento, CA and Ganelle Patten, Augusta, GA; one brother-in-law, Rev. Calvin (Willie Mae) Coach Sr., Beech Island, SC; one sister-in-law, Sheila Coach, Beech Island, SC; two aunts, Rebecca Boiling, Columbia, SC and Jeannie Barnes, Ft.
