Age 78, entered into rest on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 13th at St. Phillip Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Eric T. Butler officiating. Interment will be at the church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Friday, January 12th at St. Phillip Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wright attended Jefferson High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of St. Phillip Missionary Baptist Church. She sang with the MJ Gospel Singers.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lindsey Wright. Survivors include a son, Alfie (Parri) Wright; two daughters, Leslie (Johnny) Dobey and Tina Shaw; one sister, Agnes Robinson, grandchildren, Justin and Jairus Dobey, Courtney, Darius, Desiree, and Demarcus Wright, Vincent and Ariel Shaw; great-grandchildren, Saniya Wright and Jayden Shaw; a host of other relatives and friends.
