Priscilla Elaine Gaskin-Townes, 65, of Atlanta, GA,  passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Grady Memorial Hospital of Atlanta, GA.

Born in Greenwood,  SC, she was a daughter of the late Earthy and Mamie Gaskin I. Priscilla retired from Fulton County Juvenile Justice and was a member of Flipper Temple AME Church in Atlanta, GA.

Surviving is her son, Phil Cleophas Townes III of Atlanta, GA, and daughter, Mary Ann Ferguson of Lansing, MI.  In addition, surviving brothers, Dr. Earthy Gaskin, II of McCormick,  SC; Dr. Michael K. Gaskin (Sharon) of Greenwood, SC; Mitchell B. Gaskin, of Barstow, CA; and Ronnie Simmons of McCormick, SC.  Priscilla was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Ferguson-Jones, Renda S. Gaskin-Chisolm, and Patricia Johnson.  She was beloved by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
