Age 49, entered into rest on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 21st at Almond Branch Baptist Church, Aiken. Interment will follow at Church of Deliverance Memorial Gardens, Springfield, SC. A viewing will be held from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Friday, September 20th at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Steve A. Bates; her father, Jimmie Lee Jones; two stepdaughters, Miranda Walker and Renee Williams; six grandchildren; four siblings, Maurice Jones, Jemyra Jones, Lee Jones, and Daniel Jones; three sisters-in-law, Priscilla Rountree, Patricia Bates, and Gussie Bates; two brothers-in-law, Franklin Bates Jr. and Ernest Roundtree; six aunts, three great-aunts, five uncles, and a host of other relatives and friends.
